Al Duhail's Nasser Khalfan, Muntari back in action
QNB Stars League side Al Duhail got back the services of Nasser Khalfan and Mohamed Muntari, who both were out injured for a long time. Muntari had an injury lay-off for nine months.
Al Duhail coach Djamel Belmadi fielded both players in their QSL Cup match against Al Gharafa, which they lost by a solitary goal on Sunday.
Al Duhail's experienced defender Dame Traore, who was also recuperating from an injury, competed against Al Gharafa.
Nasser Khalfan got hurt in a friendly during the team's camp in Austria while Muntari was out of action since the end of last season when he underwent a surgery in London.
Al Duhail will now focus on their QNB Stars League home match against Al Ahli on Sunday, 15th October.
Al Duhail are currently on top of the QNB Stars League table with nine points, ahead of Al Sadd on goal difference.
