Al Sadd’s Pedro back in training

Al Sadd defender Pedro Miguel, who missed the action for one month with a dislocated shoulder, on Monday attended the team’s training session ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 10 game against Al Khor, rescheduled at the renovated Khalifa International Stadium for 1st December.

Al Khor’s home match was moved to the first 2022 FIFA World Cup venue to be completed as part of testing and readiness strategy.

Pedro’s return will be a shot in the arm for The Wolves, who will miss Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah for up to two months as he suffered a fracture on his right leg during their 2-4 loss to Al Duhail last week.

Al Sadd, coached by Portuguese Jesualdo Ferreira, had slipped from second to third position (21 points) and will be keen to bag full points against Al Khor in order to stay in title contention.
